Founded in 2004, the International Psoriasis Council (IPC) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to innovation across the full spectrum of psoriasis through research, education and patient care. They have been a SiteCM client since 2011.
In 2017 the IPC launched their Continuing Medical Education Initiative so that dermatologists and other medical professionals could learn more about psoriasis and qualify for CME credits even if they could not make it to the AGM of the American Academy of Dermatology.
The process needed to be easy to follow. Using SiteCM’s Content Blocks and a simple customization of the SiteCM Form tool, they were able to quickly launch a web based solution that met the requirements of their audience, their timeline, and most importantly their budget!
After reading some online material and watching a video embedded from YouTube, visitors have to answer a short quiz.
When the answers are submitted the test taker instantly receives feedback. Upon successful completion the test taker is directed to the login page at Baylor College of Medicine to receive their certificate and log their credits.
If they are not successful, they can review the material and take the quiz again.
