Simple eCommerce Component

The SiteCM Simple eCommerce Component was developed to meet the needs of our customers who have a limited number of products  to sell online.  While CommerceCM, our full eCommerce management system includes a sophisticated catalog manager and advanced marketing and reporting tools, the SiteCM Simple eCommerce component is optimized for a merchant with under 20 products.

SiteCM users can build their shopping pages with the page editor just like any other site page.  Shopping controls are added with a Drop In Application (shown here). 

Merchants can set a unique product ID, Name and Price.  Products can have up to 4 attribute values that must be selected by the shopper.  These could include Size, Color, Fabric or other options as appropriate.  Each attribute value can have a unique name and multiple options.

Once the product has been configured, clicking update adds the shopping control to your page.

The Simple eCommerce shopping cart keeps shoppers on your site until they need to checkout and pay for their purchases.

The cart can be forwarded to either PayPal, or netCheckout for processing transactions if you have a merchant credit card account.

SiteCM Simple eCommerce is easy enough to use and the low cost makes it affordable for businesses that want to dip their toe in the eCommerce pool, hobbyists and home based businesses.
