Promotions are offers that have a precondition. Common examples would be "2 for 1”, “Buy 1 get one at half price”, or “Buy 2 get 1 free!” offers. A simple form walks you through creating a variety of common promotions or you can create your own promotion conditions using our powerful promotions manager. Each Promotion has Qualification conditions, a Reward, and Exceptions.
Free Shipping promotions can be set up in the Promotions Manager or through our powerful shipping manager depending on the criteria.
Promotions can also be activated by entering a specific Promotion (Coupon) Code. By entering a code in the checkout, your customer can receive discounts on the items in their carts. Promotions that use Coupons differ from Promotions in that the shopper has to know the code to get the discount. Codes can be limited use (first 100 shoppers that enter the code), time limited, or permanent. Reports can be easily viewed to see what orders were placed with which promo codes.
Sale prices can be offered in one or many currencies for a limited period of time. You can even have them set for different dates. For example, you can have a sale on July 2nd for Canada Day for shoppers shopping with Canadian dollars, and the same sale in July 4th for American shoppers shopping with American dollars. Sales can be prescheduled to activate and deactivate so you don’t have to login late on December 25th to start your boxing day sale, just set the prices, the active date and enjoy the holiday!
