April Update

Spring is in the air, ski season is over, and the rain has finally stopped for awhile in Vancouver.  We are planting lots of interesting seeds here at ideaLEVER and looking forward to lots of growth and harvesting the fruits of our labour in a few months.

Are you looking to grow your business in 2016?  Here are a few seeds you might want to consider planting:

  1. Mobile: The future is in the palm of your hand and the back pocket of your customers. In 2015 mobile search outpaced desktop.  If your site is not responsive Google will penalize you and you are losing customers.

  2. Pay-Per Click Advertising: When was the last time you opened the Yellow Pages? Google has been tweaking their search results pages and is now listing up to 4 ads at the top of search results pages.  Why do you care?  Even a #1 organic search result is frequently "below the fold" now.

  3. Local Search: Is your website local search ready? Have you claimed your map location with Google My Business? Google’s changes to the search results page include an expanded Knowledge Panel. Local businesses now gets more space than ever, make sure you're found!

The second in our series of tasty sites for 2016 is the new site for Bernardin. If you or someone you know is canning (or wants to learn how!) then you should check out the new responsive site and recipe database.  While you are there you can order custom labels to put the finishing touch on your jars.
