December 2, 2008: The countdown is on and all eyes are on the new venues for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. More than a spectacular venue for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the Oval also signifies a major investment in the overall health and wellbeing of the diverse community of Richmond, BC.
With such a busy venue, content management is a must. Using a design from Monolab (http://www.monolab.ca/) who was responsible for overall branding of the Oval, Jackelyn Thompson (http://www.jackelynthompson.ca/), a SiteCM Reseller in Vancouver, BC, developed the site using SiteCM. Staff at the Richmond Oval can add pages and update the site 24 hours a day so the public can always get the latest information about activities at the Oval.
The Oval will be one of the busiest venues during the Olympics and will host 12 Long Distance Speed Skating medal events. Upon conclusion of the Games, the Oval will begin its legacy as an important permanent fixture serving the local, national and international community as a one-of-a-kind centre for health, wellness, and sports excellence.

Ocober 9th, 2008: eachanoriginal DESIGN COMPANY was established in 2000 by owner Christine Pinette. She chose to christen her company "eachanoriginal" playing on the uniqueness of each hand-painted magnetic piece. Her desire was to create fridge magnets that were worthy of stand alone display. The eachanoriginal team continues to expand on this unique, contemporary product line which can be found in a wide variety of venues from art galleries to stationary, floral, gift & home decor stores across Canada and the USA.
eachanoriginal.com uses big product pictures to show off the fun and funky designs of each hand painted magnet collection. The design supports multiple pictures for each product so several samples of collections can be shown to illustrate the variety available. The site also has a store locator based on postal or zip code so shoppers can find the closest local retail outlet where eachanoriginal hand painted magnets are sold.

September 9th, 2008: Created in 2005 by two friends with a passion for BC-made fashion and accessories, Splurge has developed a loyal following of fans and supporters. Splurge is now synonymous with fun, one-of-a-kind Victoria shopping events and as a ‘go to’ resource for BC style & trends with its popular biweekly free e-newsletter, Splurge 411. Since day one Splurge has used SiteCM to keep up with the hectic pace of event planning and communications. Using SiteCM allowed the Splurge web site to evolve as the event gathered momentum, signed up designers, and hosted charity events. A growing "buzz" section showing press coverage, and a photo gallery, all help create excitement for this one of a kind event. Their bi-weekly Splurge 411 has become the must have newsletter for Victoria's fashionistas.
The 2009 event is expanding into the beautiful Crystal Palace and as part of their growth Splurge Victoria has launched a new web site designed by Raised Eyebrow Web Studio of Vancouver, BC.

August 1st, 2008: After listening to Designers and our Resellers we determined what they really wanted was a CMS that was easier to deploy. Now with the SiteCM Toolbar for Dreamweaver, deploying SiteCM web content management system is a matter of a few clicks. The toolbar eliminates the need to get into the underlying code, and provides drop in controls with place holder content allowing designers to style SiteCM elements intuitively in Dreamweaver`s WYSIWYG interface.
Once you are ready to deploy your site, the SiteCM Toolbar helps you load your site to our servers, stripping out the place holder content.
The Toolbar is available from ideaLEVER at no cost to authorized SiteCM Resellers and is compatible with Dreamweaver CS3 on both PC and Macintosh computers.

June 1st, 2008: The Sport Fishing Institute of BC is a non-profit society for anglers and the organizations that support them and the BC salt water sport fishing industry. As a member funded non- profit, they needed a cost effective way to manage their web based communication and promote sport fishing in BC. They had outgrown their existing custom site management system and the cost of updating it to meet their current requirements was prohibitive. Their search for an affordable CMS with the support and training they required led them to SiteCM. SiteCM, with the addition of a small custom directory application, provided them all of the features of their old site, with the ability to manage all content, not just limited areas. Training, toll free support, and the convenience of software as a service content management ensure that their site and systems are always up to date. The entire project was completed in less than 7 weeks including design, programming, content migration, and training. As a registered non-profit society the Sport Fishing Institute of BC took advantage of our discount on SiteCM for registered non-profit groups.

May 19th, 2008: Communication Solutions Inc, a PR firm and SiteCM Reseller works with Interior Health and needed to create a site to help recruit physicians to the region. While the Health Region already has a great careers site, it was felt that the messaging for physicians needed to be more direct than could be accommodated in the existing system. A campaign was built around the concept that it is "Better Here" and SiteCM gave them the perfect foundation for a web site that features all of the benefits of being a physician in the interior of British Columbia.
